Hello. Will the video recordings be the same as the YouTube streamed videos, or will they be made available in a different way?
Video experts @Matteo Capucci (he/him) and @Tim Hosgood might want to correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the plan is to use the streamed YouTube videos. However we have also been recording on Zoom (except I think we missed the start of one session), so we could do something with that, if there is a particular reason?
It would be great if there were a way to get videos of individual talks, not just long videos of sessions. I might try to download a long video, chop out the part containing my talk, and re-upload that on my YouTube channel. Or see if there's an easy way to get the long video to start at the beginning of my talk when I put it onto my playlist.

If you click on "Share" on Youtube, it gives you the option to create a link starting at a timestamp in the video, like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNdH_U-C1Nc&t=27269s. At the very least, we plan to link to the start of each talk that way from the programme. However unfortunately Youtube won't let you have such custom start times when including the long video in your own playlist.
If you put the timestamps in the video description too, then I believe YouTube should interpret them to make sections which can be jumped between.
Hi! Thanks, I knew about the ability to include start times in links like that; I use them sometimes when including YouTube videos on my website. It's too bad you can't do that with playlists.
Anyway, I was able to download the 9-hour video and now I can chop out my talk; I'll be glad to explain how to do this if anyone else wants a video of their talk.
Hey, yeah the plan is to keep the recordings on YouTube. I'll try to add chapters so it's easier to navigate the stream
First day got chapters:
Second day got chapters:
Thanks for the chapters, Matteo! It's work to do, but it makes the videos a lot more usable: most viewers wouldn't enjoy searching through a 9-hour video for the talk they want!
Links to the start of all talks are now available from the programme and the list of accepted presentations on the conference website.
Great!
Speaking of links on the program, any chance the posters could be listed with their PDFs linked as well?
I remember uploading my poster to the Dropbox, so maybe that’s the intention all along—if so just checking when they’ll be up!

Good idea! I've added the ones we have for now (thank you!).

You're welcome!
With Fred's help I've finished labelling all the recordings
