Given that all the talks for CT this year were recorded, does anyone know whether they will be made public at any point?
cc @Beppe Metere
I doubt they will, as the understanding among all the speakers was that the videos would remain private.
I was a speaker, that wasn't my understanding. Was it mentioned at some point? I couldn't find it in any of the emails.
In fact, I hate it. I missed many of the talks because I was in a radically different timezone. I thought I'd be able to watch them later.
I was also a speaker, and was not under that impression.
@Joe Moeller: if you were a participant at CT, you can still watch the videos using the Vimeo link, but they're not public.
@Joe Moeller check the email sent on 27 August (maybe 26 August for you) with the subject “CT20->21 Info for the online speakers”
Ah I see. Still sucks I can't share my talk.
Hi guys, the public recording have been available during the conference days, and until the whole week after the end of the meeting. This way, people attending from uncomfortable time zones had the chance to attend all the talks they wanted to. Moreover, the videos will be made public again by the end of 2021/ beginning of 2022.
The videos of the talks of the Category Theory Meeting (Genoa - Italy, and online, 30 August to 4 September 2021) are now available on the YouTube Channel of the conference:

So, sit back, relax, and enjoy your viewing.
