Let me tell you a bit about my professional background. I hold a Master’s degree in Statistics and was recently accredited as an Associate Statistician (A.Stat.) by the Statistical Society of Canada (SSC). I am a Canadian citizen based in Quebec. Regarding my research and experience, I have an h-index of 4, with two years of experience as a Junior Research Fellow in quantum cryptography and two years as a statistical consultant.
I am currently seeking a mentor, who must be a Professional Statistician (P.Stat.), to apply for the SSC Mentorship Program (*). My primary research interest is the detection of drones through multi-source data fusion (incorporating electromagnetic, acoustic, pressure, temperature, and brightness data). My interest in applying category theory to statistics is motivated by Peter McCullagh’s foundational paper, What is a statistical model?.
(*) I am open to collaborating with non-statistician mathematicians, but I am not sure that the SSC mentorship program would accept such a collaboration as a valid mentorship.
