I'd like to join too, if the meetings happen to be at a Japan-compatible time. If they're not, I might try to read along anyway and participate via Zulip.

We'll try to make it accessible to as many people as possible but Japan might be a tough time-zone to accomodate while also keeping the American East and West coasts, and Europe in mind.

If people can share their time-zones with respect to UTC, that would help. Mine is -4:00 ETC.

I like the idea of keeping the conversation going on Zulip. I'll have to give that more thought.

Another idea might be to write down what times you are available, cuz some people work at night and others in the morning. For me, I am usually awake within the range 5h00 UTC to 20h00 UTC (every day).

I'd like to join, too! I have time 10h00 UTC - 1h00 UTC except on Mondays and also not Wednesdays 13h00-15h00 UTC

I'd like to join as well. I'm usually awake 6h00-22h00 UTC, preferred "office hours" 7h00-17h00 UTC.

So far it looks like the overlapping range is shaping up to be 13:00-20:00 UTC. Can @Nathaniel Virgo , @Joshua Tan , @Bradley Saul, @Evan Patterson , @Fabrizio Genovese (and possibly also @[Mod] Morgan Rogers and @John Baez ) give a range of times when they will be awake / able to attend? Don't think too hard about the overlapping range. Just say when you personally are awake / available.

That time range would work for me too (with slight preference towards the latter half of the interval) :+1:

So that looks like 6:00 am - 1:00 pm Pacific Time. I would never talk to anyone about math before 10:00 am on weekends, and even 11:00 is pushing it. But you probably shouldn't worry too much about me.

I'm based in Rome Timezone. That should be GMT +1 or 2 depending on the light saving thing. I'm available from 3 to 7 PM more or less everyday

Hi Oliver, I could do most times at or after 17:00 UTC on any day of the week. (I'm on Pacific time, and I'm afraid I don't do math early in the morning.)

I'm generally awake enough to think about maths from around 00:00 - 13:00 UTC. I could try staying up late, but I realise I'm the outlier time zone wise, so please schedule it when it's convenient for others, and don't worry too much about whether I can make it!

No worries. I just wanted to gather the information. Unfortunately it's looking like the most overlap happens at 17:00 to 18:00 or 19:00, so that's when I'll schedule the meetings.

Any time in that range works for me with a preference towards the later end. I'm on US East Coast.

I’m on the East Coast as well, so any of those items work for me.
