Hi everyone, if anyone in the ACT community has a sabbatical coming up in the second half of 2021 or anytime in 2022, please consider coming to Tallinn, Estonia and working with our group (https://compose.ioc.ee/).
This also applies to PhD students -- come and visit us, and work with us for a semester.
I have funds to cover travel costs, as well as a salary to cover costs of living while in Tallinn.
Please forward to anyone who might be interested, and get in touch with me for further details! (sobocinski@gmail.com)
You're right at the top of my list of places to visit (with my own funding) once international travel becomes feasible. But I'm not realistically expecting to do any international travel this year
But I'll share this with MSP

I am always in sabbatical, can I come for a bit? :3
Of course!
I'm gonna be on permanent sabbatical starting in one month. That is, I won't be teaching anymore, but I'll still be a "Professor of the Graduate Division" at UCR. I would love to visit your group for a while.
That's fantastic John, we'd love to have you for as long as you'd like to stay!
:tada: :tada: :tada:
I'll be in touch.
I'd also love to finally take you up on the offer, @Pawel Sobocinski. Hopefully this year is the right one!
I think I would enjoy a visit in early 2022. :bird:
I'll be finishing my PhD in a few months, so if "still looking for a postdoc" can be interpreted as a kind of sabbatical, then I would also love to take you up on this offer!

But beware, if you come I'll put you to real work. :squid:
Thanks for the tag @Chad Nester! There are so much nice things going on in Tallinn I would gladly visit if possible. Probably early 2022 since I am supposed to finish my PhD around January.
Cool!
