How did you find out about the TWFs by John Baez? Probably a bit unfair, since I can't remember myself, but maybe you do.
Actually, my father told me about it :-)
Go ahead, make me feel old. These days I get people saying "I really liked This Week's Finds back when I was in high school".
TWF started when I was in middle school, so yeah...
But I think it was David Michael Roberts and the others at Adelaide who told me about it.
TWF started about half-way between birth and beginning Kindergarten for me, and now I'm John's most senior current student.
Oh stop it!
Did your folks get you started on TWF when you went to kindergarten, @Joe Moeller?
I wish. My dad delivered pizzas at that time. I didn't get consistent access to the internet until I graduated high school in 2009.
I was able to buy a laptop with my community college's funding because I didn't have to pay rent since I was homeless (couch surfing).
what's TWF
oh looks like that started before i was born :halo:
What's TWF, they ask... kids these days.
They also don't know what PSSL is.
look, 2010 was before i started doing rigorous math >:(
TWF was hardly relevant to my life :halo:
oh wait does it still exist, i saw "1993 to 2010" on the page i found from google and missed that that was the timeline for its old name rather than its existence at all
topological woqnɼɑʁ forms
Of course it still exists. It's where I explained all the math and physics I knew, in 300 essays. Most of this stuff is still true.
Actually 329 essays, but the last 30 or so were different.
well i meant "still exists" as in "is still running"
Oh. No, I'm not writing them anymore.
I'm gonna turn the best parts into essays, but that belongs in the other thread!
