I'm just relearning about the hyperreal numbers. (and maybe learn a little mire forcing). I noticed the nlab has a little blerb on filterquotients of topoi on the page on nonstandard analysis.
What exactly is a filterquotient, and how does one construct and use one?
One reference is section V.9 of Sheaves in geometry and logic.
I like the idea of mire forcing.
