Has anyone studied Pierre Levy’s Information Economy Meta-language? It’s pretty much exactly the topic of this thread, an algebraic semantics, extremely compositional. It’s fascinating. I’ve connected with many people online around it, and I’m curious to explore viewing it from a more category-theoretic viewpoint.
