A couple of events that might connect to interests of some on here who apply category theory to statistics, scientific modelling, machine learning etc..

  1. Feras Saad and Steven Holtzen are running an online seminar series on probabilistic programming. https://probprog.cc . I'll give the first talk, this Thursday (28 Sept), but anyone can submit a talk proposal.
  2. There's a workshop on languages for inference in London in Jan 2024. https://popl24.sigplan.org/home/lafi-2024 . Submission deadline 27 Oct.
