Wow! The last time I went to the AMS Western sectional meeting, there was a session on quantum algebra, and one on tensor categorical methods in rep theory. This time, there's:
Western:
- Algebraic and Combinatorial Aspects of Polytopes
- Categorical and Combinatorial Methods in Representation Theory
- Connections Between Homotopical Algebra and Geometry
- Diagrammatic and Combinatorial Methods in Representation Theory
- Geometric and Categorical Methods in Representation Theory
- Quivers, Tensors, and Their Applications
Southeastern:
Eastern:
Right now the Southeastern and Eastern ones have talks scheduled already, while the Western one does not yet.
I'm very excited for these. To be clear, I only listed the specific ones that interested me. There are many other sessions scheduled.

What's the major difference between these two, do you think?
Probably just different speakers. I imagine there's going to be lots of people jumping back and forth between these and the others. I will be.
You could offer to give a talk in the former of these two sessions if it's not too late, Joe. I guess it's too late.
But anyway, you can keep your eye out for AMS special sessions where it makes sense to give a talk about Schur functors. (I guess you're doing that?)
Right, a lot of these would be good for that.
