Has anyone ever seen lifted limits defined as a literal lifting property like this:

where II^\triangleright is II with an adjoined terminal object, and the bottom and diagonal functors are assumed to be limiting? Of course, there's the question of whether the diagram should commute strictly or up to natural isomorphism.
