Nathan Corbyn (Sep 20 2024 at 12:13):Is there a name for the notion dual to transfinite composition? (That is, projective limits of co-smooth co-chains.) Are there any standard references?
Kevin Carlson (Sep 20 2024 at 15:13):Limits of “towers” of fibrations come up in homotopy theory, though I think most often just the countable ones. Otherwise I can’t immediately think of much that’s special to these relative to arbitrary cofiltered limits.
