About the Schur functors paper, it is worth noting that the Cahiers recently published a category theoretic paper by Ivo del'Imbrogio and James Hugle (Arxiv version https://arxiv.org/abs/2006.10375) which is based on the Bisets techniques of Serge Bouc who is a representation theorist, so don't worry about the title of the journal. Look at what it publishes.
Okay. Still, if I published something in Cahiers, I'd feel happier if it were about differential topology. Less cognitive dissonance.
Fine. The name merely reflects the history of the journal.
