Wait, was the problem caused by the fact that no-one is at Mount Allison anymore?
If so, is TAC safe?

Has anyone archived TAC?
On the TAC website the following information is available:
For various reasons, such as temporary shut-downs and archival diversity, it is useful to maintain "mirrors" of the journal which are complete copies of the articles and other information. You may find one of the locations listed below provides convenient alternate access. The definitive current version of the journal is that maintained on its server.
If you access the journal from a mirror site and find it not up to date, follow the Home site link on the journal home page.
The mirrors are:
The National Library of Canada
at http://epe.lac-bac.gc.ca/100/201/300/tac/index.html as part of its Electronic Collection
The Electronic Library
of the European Mathematical Society at http://www.emis.de/journals/TAC/. The journals at this site are further mirrored at http://www.emis.de/tech/mirrors.html
I'm glad TAC is safely archived. Does its website still work though, for updates, for example new articles being published?

The TAC website has been inaccessible for about a week, I think. I'd also be interested to hear more about what's going to happen with it.
@Graham Manuell http://www.tac.mta.ca/tac/ loaded just fine for me now.
Ah great. It seems to be back today. Hopefully this lasts.

Yes the TAC website doesn't always work for me either, but after a few hours or changing browsers, it usually works.
But I am not worried about loosing the TAC archive or the website

Geoff Cruttwell, the managing editor of TAC, is still a Mount Allison (and might be acting dean or something). Geoff is still very much active! (unless I injure his back again...) and will stay Mount Allison University until he dies (Geoff's still young, we've got some time)
Long live the editor! :D
